Velvet Flower DIY

Hello! We’re delighted to walk you through this starter-kit tutorial. If you’ve already purchased our entry-level material or tool kit, simply follow the steps below and you’ll turn the silk threads and tools inside into a beautiful silk flower—entirely by hand. The whole process takes about 1 hour and is completely beginner-friendly.

There are 4 Steps in total.  

Group – Following the instructions, bundle the colored silk threads in the specified order and tie them onto a thin wooden stick.

Brush – Gently brush the threads with the special brush until they’re even and fluffy; this step is surprisingly soothing.

Secure – Fasten the velvet bundle in place with the provided copper wire.

Rub & Trim – Rub each pre-cut silk segment to make it velvety-soft, then trim it into the exact petal shape.You can either press the velvet flower flat with a mini iron for a crisp, petal-like look, or leave it plush and fluffy—whichever style you prefer.
